Here is a picture of the Labrador Lava Bolero edging in Louisa Harding Sari Ribbon : Here is the Lava Bolero, in all its lava-like glory! It's growing apace, and a good thing too, as we will be meeting with the intended recipient of said bolero in about ten days. I look forward to finishing it, as working with super-bulky yarn hurts my tendons a little bit. This ought to keep T. warm!
Hope the New Year is bringing increased light to y'all! I can certainly feel the difference. The New Year has been benign to us so far. Over the holidays I got less knitting - and less writing - done than I thought I would, but here, at least, is the solution I've come up with to treat some of the joins I'm less than happy with on the Butter Baby Georgia Baby Blanket - my experiment in squaring the circle, etc. This is called 'reverse cable stitch' and I'm actually quite happy with the way it looks. Even though it is anomalous, it somehow serves to pull the whole pattern together better. I'll show you the entire square when I've done the cable for the other seam that needs changing.

Hej!
Venlig hilsen,
Lisbeth.

I, too, and revisiting my danish roots and find fibers so comforting in my quest. Thanks for your site. I have begun (under construction) a site and knitting business called EnesteKnits. Bringing the the language that I heard as a child seems to right.
