I've been plying away on my two current projects: the edging of the Baby Georgia Baby blanket, and the sleeves of my Mossy Green Nevada sweater. Knitting has been taking a back seat to writing, researching and playing the dulcimer. We had a very huge Thanksgiving event here, but now as we move toward the solstice, things will be quieting down and I'll probably have lots of opportunities to pass the hours of solitude with knitting.

Rich, lush theme-laden cinematography, nuanced characterizations, sets, costumes, scenes, and hot but not graphic sexuality, characterize this film that deals with the nature of truth and reality, subjectivity/objectivity and the underground currents of the heart. I haven't read the book, so can't compare, but the film is a must-see. I especially loved its treatment of the craziness of war.
