That's pretty much what it's like in my neck of the East Bay. I saw a quail couple crossing (and recrossing) the street a few times last week on my way to work - I haven't seen quail out here in years.

I'm dreading them fooling with the Concord Naval Weapons station.

what are they thinking of doing with the naval weapons station? i haven't seen anything about it on the news.
