This morning I saw a hummingbird, a monarch-type butterfly (beautiful, big, black, orange and white, with scalloped wings), a bunch of honey-bees and a black-and-yellow bumble-bee - all feeding on the manzanita in front of our house at the same time. Uplifting! Nature, alive and doing her thing on a clear, cool autumn day in central-coastal California.
